guns germs and steel test

Today in class we took the test on guns germs and steel. The test was 26 questions multiple choice I thought the test was pretty easy there was probably three or four questions that I did not know. But overall I think I did pretty well on it. Some of the the questions were how many cows are in the US now and the answer was 100,000,000. Another question was what is one of the professions that Diamond does NOT have and the answer was professional photography.

Today we copied a model of the Demographic transition it looked like this and we watched a video on demographic transitions by  Darron Gedge's Geography Channel  it talked about why the population grows or shrinks we were shown models of demographic transitions and how countries like Japan and China are dropping in population

Reviewing the first test

Today we got our first test back I was pretty happy with my grade. The part I did the best on is the multiple choice and the essays I aced the multiple choice and only lost a couple points on the essay. I could have gotten a few more points if I spent a little longer studying. What I struggled with the most was what the gathering place was for the Ancient Greeks and I could not figure out what the name of the tallest mountain in Alaska was it was only for extra credit. The average score for the class was 86.4 five people voted guilty for the essay and sixteen people wrote not guilty I thought the average score was pretty good it was a high B. The format of the test was not to bad and I think if a took another test in this format I would do better because I know what it would look like and I would study a little harder.
