Nations throughout the world struggle manage their population. It is important to not have too many people or too few people. Japan and India are two countries that have an overpopulation problem, and Greenland is a county that has an underpopulation problem.      The reason Japan and India’s population is so high is because they have 0 Net Migration rate, and the reason Greenland has such a low population is because they have -6 Net Migration Rate. This means that more people are leaving Greenland than coming in and Japan and India no one is leaving or entering.

Japans total population is 126,168,156 it is the 10^th biggest country in the world. 37.28% of the people in the country are 25-56 years old which means that most of the county is not in child baring age so not many people will not be having children. Even through the population is so high this does not mean it is rapidly going up Japan only has a 1.42 TFR the TFR need for a population to stay the same is 2.1 so Japans population is going down quickly. They have a birth rate of 7.5 and a death rate of 9.9 therefore the TFR is so low if you have more deaths than births than your population is going to shrink. A way to fix this problem is to have more children so the populations can even out but if you have to many children then you are going to have an overpopulation problem.
